The Sparkler 5K Run/Walk is held every year on the 4th of July with all profits benefiting the 

Merrimack High and Middle School Track and Cross Country programs.

 

Location:

     * Start and finish at the Merrimack YMCA 6 Henry Clay Drive, Merrimack, NH

Start Time:

     * Kids Fun Run: 7:40 am

     * 5K: 8:00 am

​

Course Description:

     * Start downhill, end uphill, rolling hills and flats in between, primarily on closed off road

Awards:

     * Top 3 overall male and female, then top 3 male and female in each age group

​

Age Groups:

     * 1-8, 9-11, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

​

Entry Fees:

     * On or before June 14th, 2020: adults $22.50, youth (13 and younger) $17.00

     * After June 15th, 2020: adults $28.00, youth (13 and younger) $22.50

     * Race day: adults $30.00, youth (13 and younger) $25.00

Kids Fun Run:

     * Free to all runners

     * Starts at 7:40 am on the field next to the YMCA

     * Two loops around the field (.25 miles)

     * No registration required

     * All participants will receive a finisher's medal!

     * Friday July 3, 2020 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Fleet Feet Sports, 4 Coliseum Ave Nashua, NH

     * Saturday July 4, 2020 from 6:00 am - 7:30 pm at Merrimack YMCA, 6 Henry Clay Drive Merrimack, NH
